The applicant shall, prior to resubmitting, complete all construction documents to show compliance with the 2010 California Building Standards Code with local amendments and to clearly indicate the scope of work under this building permit application. There may be additional requirements when complete construction drawings and supporting data is submitted for Building Safety Division review. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. Sheet A1: Site plan: Please show area of addition at the family expansion. Governing Code: Please specify 2019 California Energy Code. Sheet A4: Exterior wall located less than 5-ft from the property line shall be constructed with one-hour fire-rated wall. On the plan, please show one-hour wall and provide construction detail. Clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Please show/provide door landing at door D01 and D03. Landing shall be minimum 36” measured in the direction of travel, and width equal to door opening. Landing shall not be more than 73/4 inches (196 mm) below the top of the threshold. Please specify tempered glass for glazing in door (door D03). Sheet A6: Section B-B: Please revise section to show wall insulation of R-15 and floor insulation of R-19. On the plan, please specify maximum dimension of roof eave overhang. Eave shall not project into the 2-ft fire separation distance. Eave project: Please provide one-hour fire protection on the underside of eave. Except, eave with solid fire-block, one-hour projection on the underside may not be required. Provide detail and clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Sheet A7: Receptacle outlets provided at kitchen island shall be protected with GFCI. Please note on plan: Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing were not part of this plan approval and are subject to field inspection. Structural Comments: Roof framing: Please provide detail section at ceiling beam 1 to show support of existing roof framings. Provide detail to show beam 1 to beam 2. Detail 26/D2: Please revise detail to provide minimum 8” heightconcrete curb. Detail 25/D2: Please revise detail to provide 8” height concrete curb.
