The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Sheet A-1: Area Tabulation: Please include the square footage of the proposed patio cover. Scope of work: Please include the 502 sq.ft. of new patio cover. Site plan: Please show surface drainage slope and pattern away from the building. The grade shall fall not fewer than 6 inches within the first 10 feet from the foundation wall. Where lot lines, walls, slopes or other physical barriers prohibit 6 inches of fall within 10 feet, drains, or swales shall be constructed to ensure drainage away from the structure. Impervious surfaces within 10 feet of the building foundation shall be sloped not less than 2 percent away from the building. Information provided on plan must be permanent. Glued or taped on plan are insufficient. Sheet S-2: Interior pad footing: Please revise plan to provide minimum 18” deep footing. Sheet S-3: Roof Framing note #1: Please revise note to provide two (2) layers of underlayment for roof slope less than 4:12. Section A: Please revise building section to show/specify new (N) for new roof framing over the new addition. Section A: Please specify/provide R-38 roof insulation as required by Title 24 calculation. Referenced detail 6/S-4: Please revise detail to specify new (N) framing information, and show 6-16d nail for rafter-ceiling lap connection.
