Hydrogen fuel gas room located outside and separated from areas of the building may not classified as group H (Section 421.3); otherwise, H-2 occupancy shall be provided with fire separation distance in accordance with Section 415.6.1.2. Please note on plan: All hydrogen fueling equipment shall be listed and approved Hydrogen Equipment. Sheet C2.0:Keynote # 1.8B: Accessible parking sign – Please reference to sheet C6.0 for sign detail. Keynote #1.31: Accessible parking stall – Please reference to detail C6.0 for accessible parking detail. (11B-502.2)On the plan, please provide/show van accessible parking stall in compliance with section 11B-502.2. Car and van parking spaces shall be 216 inches long minimum. Sheet C5.1: Please provide elevation of the hydrogen dispenser. The dispenser operable parts shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. Please show compliance with Section 11B-309. (11B-228)Sheet C6.1: Light pole footing detail was provided – On the plan, please show location of light poles, and include light poles in the job description and permit application. Specify on plan how many light poles are proposed. Provide structural calculation. Sheet A1.0: Canopies under which fuels are dispensed shall have a clear, unobstructed height of not less than 13 feet 6 inches (4115 mm) to the lowest projecting element in the vehicle access area. Please coordinate and revise elevations accordingly. Structural Review Comment: Sheet S0.0, General note #2: Please update code edition to 2019 CBC edition. Please provide specification of the Station modules and valve panel, including maximum height and weight. Sheet S1.0: Provide details and specification of the fueling storage rack. Please provide elevation of the Station modules and provide structural support/anchorage (see equipment plan on sheet C5.0 location). Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Please provide elevation of valve panel elevation and structural support/anchorage. (See equipment plan on sheet C5.0 for location). Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Fence posts: For clarity, please show placement (spacing) of posts so that it can be easily located. Specify Special inspection is required for concrete strength fc’ greater than 2500 psi. Sheet S1.2: 13-feet 6-inches clear height fuel canopy is required. Please revise calculation and details, including footing, accordingly. On the plan, please clearly show cantilever beam HSS 12x12x4.Provide calculation for the connection (welding between HSS beam and STD pipe column. Specify Special inspection is required for concrete strength fc’ greater than 2500 psi; and for field welding. Provide structural calculation and detail for the hydrogen dispenser. Storage Rack: 1.Please provide seismic analysis for the hydrogen storage rack, use I = 1.25.Review of Soil report by Salem: Please note on plan the following notes: Soil Management Plan (SMP) is recommended to be prepared and distributed to construction personnel. Prior to fill placement, Salem Engineering Group, Inc. should inspect the bottom of the excavation to verify the fill condition. Salem Engineering shall be present at the site during site demolition and preparation to observe site clearing/demolition, preparation of exposed surfaces, etc. Salem Engineering should observe foundation excavations prior to placement of reinforcing steel or concrete. Final foundation plan and details shall be submitted to the geotechnical engineer of record (Salem Engineering) for review and approval. The geotechnical engineer of record shall “review” stamp the plan for general conformance with the soil report recommendation.
