Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A0.03Accessible Parking Stalls details: Please revise details to provide minimum 9’-0” wide parking stalls. Sheet A1.01:Detectable warning (truncated dome) provided at the end of the parking stall access aisle were insufficient. The detectable warning shall be provided at the area separating between pedestrian area and vehicular area; parking space and accessible parking access aisle are considered vehicular area. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. Please revise plan to show all landscape areas (plantings) front of the parking area. Please revise plan to show minimum 4-ft wide accessible route in front of the accessible parking; and show wheel stop at a distance so that the parked vehicle would not encroach into the accessible path of travel. Accessible parking stall: Please show minimum 18-ft long parking space. Please show detectable warning at the accessible route/ramp crossing the driveway. Sheet A2.01:Detail 12/A8.04 called out at interior wall between Parking Storage area and Service area appeared not applicable (there is not door threshold) – Please clarify. On the plan, please provide existing doors schedule and hardware. Doors shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. Please provide the following notes on the plan: Egress doors/gates shall be readily openable from the egress ide without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. (1010.1.9) Openable parts of such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 44 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground. The force for pushing or pulling open a door shall be 5-lb maximum. Operable parts shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. A readily visible durable sign posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the main exit door stating: “THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THIS SPACE IS OCCUPIED”, is required. (1010.1.9.4)Existing restrooms shall be made accessible to persons with disabilities. Please provide restroom plans and details to show compliance with Chapter 11B, Division 6. Details shall be clearly cross-reference onto the plan. Drinking fountain: Drinking fountain shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. Please provide accessible drinking fountains for high and low condition in accordance with Section 11B-602. Sheet A3.01: Please provide detail for ceiling finish and construction. Provide a typical detail for new lighting installation. Sheet A8.01: Detail 7/A8.01: Please revise detail to showelectrical switches and electrical receptacle outlets complying with Section 11B-308 for accessible reach ranges; measure to the top and bottom of outlet box. Spray Booth: On the plan, please specify floor area of the proposed spray booth. On the plan, please provide/specify (UL/ICC) listing number for the spray booth. Please provide Spray booth specification on the plan. Please provide minimum 3-ft clear around the spray booth. Please specify on the plan: An automatic sprinkler system or fire-extinguishing system shall be provided in all spray rooms and spray booths, and shall be installed in accordance with Chapter 9.
