All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)Sheet G-100: On the plan, please provide scope of work under this project. General note #1: Please revise note to reference to the correct code and Tables (2019 CBC with the applicable Tables). Specify on plan: 50 square inch minimum size permanent plaques installed in conspicuous locations, showing the maximum permissible unit load in clear, legible print.Plan Cover Page Title: The application is for the interior storage racks – Please remove the statement “Tenant Improvement” on the Cover page. Plan Title Block on right hand side: Please remove “Tenant Improvement” statement and replace with “Storage Racks” to reflect with the permit application. Apply to all sheets (G-100, G-002, G-004, A1.0)Plans shall be signed and dated by the responsible designer. Apply to all sheets (G-100, G-002, G-004, A1.0)Reminder: Submit plans to Fire Department (Orange County Fire Authority) for Fire Department plan review and approval. Sheet A0.1:Reminder: Please transfer the note “FOR REFERENCE ONLY” onto the final sets. Sheet A1.0:This permit application is for the storage ranks only. Please clarify should the interior chain link fences are existing. Structural Review Comments:Detail 3, Anchor: Two (2) anchor bolts are required at each column base plate. Otherwise, provide anchor calculation for the Type Handstack racks. Periodic special inspection is required during the anchorage of access floors and storage racks 8’ or greater in height in structures assigned to Seismic Design Category D, E or F.Reminder: Final plan and calculation shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record.
