If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceUpon reviewing the revised plan, the following comment are required: Sheet A-101: Truncated dome – Please provide truncated dome at the left side door giving access to the left side parking area. Please omit the truncated dome at the top of the ramp, and relocate the truncate dome at the bottom of the ramp toward the edge of the concrete curb. Sheet A-101 & A-503: Please provide egress gates with panic hardware for the equipment enclosure. Sheet A-404: Accessible restroom plans – Please revise plan to provide minimum 18” clear between the centerline of the lavatory (sink) and the adjacent wall. Sheet A-504: Ramp Detail 1: Please revise plan to show 3-ft long truncated dome (2-ft is insufficient). Omit truncated dome at top of ramp, and relocate truncated dome at bottom of ramp toward the edge of the concrete curb. Detail 2: Please omit truncated dome at top of the ramp, and relocate truncated dome at the bottom of the ramp toward the edge of the concrete curb. 3-ft long truncated dome is required. Detail 2: handrail extension – please revise detail to show the 12” extension measure in a straight line (horizontally) to the point where the handrail starts changing direction (curvature). Sheet A-203: Mechanical space – Please provide at least two means of egress from the attic mechanical space. One could be a fixed ladder. Sheet S-201, exterior equipment: Please note on plan, equipment and support are under separate permit. Otherwise, provide equipment specification and provide complete structural analysis for the structural support and anchorage for the equipment. Reminder: Mechanicals are under a separate plan review. Hence, reference to Mechanical plans for information are insufficient. Sheet S-201: interior walls supporting equipment floor above – interior footing may be required. Please check existing slab supporting interior bearing with equipment loads above. Limit allowable soil bearing pressure to 750 psf on slab. Sheet S-201: Please provide typical details for interior wall attachment on slab/footing.
