Scope of work: On the plan, please provide statement describing business type and business operation information. Please note on plan: Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing are not part of this plan review and approval. MEP are under a separate review. Sheet A1:For clarity, please show Dyer Road on the site plan. On the plan, please specify the use of space and occupancy of the adjacent suites within the building. Occupancies separation may be required. (Table 508.4)Accessible route: on the plan, please clearly show/provide detectable warning on the accessible path of travel, where required. (11B-247.1.2)Referenced detail 1/AD1: Enlarged plan – Please show detectable warning where required. If a walk crosses or adjoins a vehicular way, and the walking surfaces are not separated by curbs, railings or other elements between the pedestrian areas and vehicular areas, the boundary between the areas shall be defined by a continuous detectable warning complying with Sections 11B-705.1.1 and 11B-705.1.2.5.Sheet A3: The exit plan was insufficient. Please revise plan with the following considerationsPlease show/provide occupant load calculation for each room/space. Flower rooms: a second exit doors are required for the flower rooms. The maximum travel distance for space with one exit is 100-ft (building with sprinkler). Minimum two distinct exit access shall be required for proposed space. Egress shall not pass through a storage room, utility room, and/or space used for similar purposes.On the plan, please show/provide tactile exit sign at each exit door. Exit shall be continuous and unobstructed to a public way. Sheet A4:Referenced detail 1 & 2 on sheet AD2: Please show 60” turning circle within the accessible restroom. Referenced detail 1 on sheet AD2: Restroom door shall not encroach more than 12” into the 60” turning circle. Insulated prefabricated wall panel: On the plan, please provide ICC/UL listing report number for the prefabricated wall panel. Provide panel shop drawings and specification on the plan. Referenced wall detail 5/AD4: On the plan, please specify ICC report number for the metal studs. Provide details for new infilled wall at the exterior wall, where the existing roll-up door is removed. Detail shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Please provide drinking fountains and at least one service sink for the proposed use, per 2019 CPC. Please coordinate with Plumbing plans. Drinking fountain shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. Provide details to show compliance with Section 11B-602. Please provide typical door and chain-link gate detail and elevation to show door/gate finish and door hardware. Please provide the following notes for the door hardware: Egress doors/gates shall be readily openable from the egress ide without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. (1010.1.9) Openable parts of such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 44 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground. The force for pushing or pulling open a door shall be 5-lb maximum. Operable parts shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. Existing electrical room: Please show/provide door at the existing electrical room. Fire-rated door with panic hardware is required/provided at the electrical room. Sheet A6: Insulated prefabricated ceiling panel: On the plan, please provide ICC/UL listing report number for the prefabricated panel. Provide panel shop drawings and specification on the plan. Sheet A7: Roof top note #3: Please clarify what are the new “cook” exhaust fans. Sheet S2: Detail D/S2: Please show/provide diagonal bracing as required by the engineering design. Calculation: Detail D/S2: Could not follow the calculation of the exiting Z-purlin. Please review existing 20-ft Z-purlin with existing roof load + equipment loads. Detail E/S2: Please review existing 20-ft z-purlin with existing roof load + equipment loads. Existing roof frames (z-purlins): Please review existing z-purlins with roof loads + ceiling loads (ceiling panels) + mechanical equipment weights. State all assumptions.
