The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Sheet A-1.0: Please revise job address to show half (2001 – 1/2 N. Olive Street) address for the ADU. Site plan: Please show/provide minimum 5% slope away from the building wall and provide swales to direct surface water away from the building. Sheet A-2.0: Please specify tempered glass for door D-02. The new addition appears to be a sleeping room – Please revise floor plan to label as bedroom. Please provide an exterior receptacle outlet at the front entry porch. Please provide building sections to show building envelope, including wall and roof insulation. Exterior wall located less than 5-ft from the property line shall be protected with one-hour fire-rated construction. Please specify one-hour wall and provide one-hour fire-rated wall assembly details. The existing storage appeared built without building permit. Please show it as a new addition. Revise project information on sheet A-1.0 as required. Sheet S2.0: It appeared that the existing storage area portion was built without a permit. Please provide new concrete slab and new exterior footing. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. New wall at existing garage door: Please provide detail to show new wall construction at footing – a concrete curb may be required. Please provide detail to show how existing garage slab will be leveled with the new concrete slab at the new additions. Provide hold-down at shear wall panel on the south side of the new bedroom addition. Sheet S2.1: Please show existing ceiling frame. Additional ceiling joists may be required for the new drywall ceiling.
