The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). BALANCE OF PLAN CHECK COMMENTS: All architectural sheets shall be stamped, signed and dated by a license professional. PC2: Missing stamp, signature and date on sheet sht-A1 through sheet sht-A5. Please also print those sheets clear and legible. Sheet Sht-A2 through A4. Clarify the proposed location of the platform, containers and equipment to be consistent with structural drawings. PC2: Provide information on A-3 or on the architectural floor plan. EGRESS Verify the proposed location of the platform, containers and equipment not to encroach the egress stairways. PC2: Show missing information such as containers on A3. Provide a statement from the event applicant indicating that all participants will stay in their own car during the event operation. ACCESSIBILITY The proposed platform shall be connected by an accessible route, or provide a platform lift (CBC 11B-410) or a ramp (CBC 11B-405) to the platform surface. If a ramp is provided, show location and dimensions of the proposed ramp and its landings on the floor plan. PC2: Plans shows an accessible platform lift is provided. On the plan, show location, landing for the lift, and provide the certification showing the accessible lift complies with California Building Code 11B-410. The provided vertical home lift appears not complies. Where temporary restrooms are provided, each restroom shall comply with 11B-213.2. See exceptions. Show restroom design on plan. PC2: Design is not provided. On the submitted plan, provide manufacturer’s cut sheet, dimensioned floor plan, model number and certification showing compliance with California Building Code Chapter 11B. STRUCTURAL Sheet 2. Detail 2. Show maximum extend of the platform (length vs width vs height) on floor plan and note the stage model: Stageline SL250. PC2: Provide overall dimensions (length vs width) on the plan. (32’x24’?) Show platform information on plan. Incorporate structural page 39 through page 46 into the structural plans. PC2: Sheet S5.01. Please print detail 21 and detail 23 clearer and larger to be legible. Provide foundation design to support the additional vertical and lateral load from rooftop platform. PC2: For the Altas column supporting at the first level without additional concrete footing, provide more information on plan how it is attached to the slab-on-ground. Please also justify if the soils bearing can work in addition to concrete slab shear capacity. Cross-reference concrete spread footing calculation (page number between 38 and 39) to the foundation plan. No page numbers provided on those pages. Show design and detail on foundation plan. PC2: Per calculation page 33, minimum 5.5 feet square footing is needed, please increase the spread footing dimensions in detail 9/S5.01. END OF COMMENTS No redlines on the drawings.
