If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet IA-T: A separate permit application and plan check number is required for Suite 135 for the revised floor plan -(reduced space). Please contact our permit service at 714-647-5800 to obtain permit application and pay any necessary fees. Job address: Please include both addresses on the plan. Apply to all sheets.Please note on plan: Automatic Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm system are under a separate submittal and are reviewed and approved by Orange County Fire Authority. Sheet IA-C1:Please show/designate an accessible path for the accessible building entrance to each building suite. Please provide/show an accessible symbol at the accessible entrance. In existing buildings where not all entrances comply with Section 11B-404, entrance(s) complying with Section 11B-404 shall be identified by the International Symbol of Accessibility complying with Section 11B-703.7.2.1. Directional signs complying with Section 11B-703.5 that indicate the location of the nearest entrance complying with Section 11B-404 shall be provided at entrances that do not comply with Section 11B-404.On the plan, please provide door schedule for the existing exit doors, including door hardware. Note on plan: Door hardware: Egress doors/gates shall be readily openable from the egress ide without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. (1010.1.9)Openable parts of such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 44 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground. The force for pushing or pulling open a door shall be 5-lb maximum. Operable parts shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. Entry door to suite 135: Please show maneuver space on the exterior side of door (60” measured in the direction of travel, and 18” pass the strike edge). For clarity, please show exit doors (exit discharge) of the building.
