The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (714) 647-5804. Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (714) 647-5839 or 647-5700. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (714) 647-5840. -Public Works Agency approval (714) 647-5039. -Orange County Sanitation District (714) 593-5756.Submit sheet A-2.0.0B and sheet A-7.0.3. Sheet A-0.0.0. Add the LED media wall in the deferred submittal item. Sheet A-0.0.0. Clarify on plan if the structure of the desk canopy is part of the deferred submittal item in addition to its footing. Sheet A-1.5. Refer to red lines on plan. Locate the exit signs such that no point in the corridor/exit passageway is more than 100 feet or the listed viewing distance for the sign, whichever is less. [CBC 1013.1] Sheet A-1.5. Tactile exit signs shall be required at the following locations: - Each exit access door from an interior room or area to a corridor or hallway, which is required to have a visual exit sign, shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the words “EXIT ROUTE.” Sheet A-2.0.0A. At the two pop-up exterior rooms beyond the existing tilt-up exterior walls, label the use or function of the rooms. Clarify the construction of the wall with the correct wall legend. It shows partition wall per legend. Sheet A-2.0.0A. Provide missing details (e.g. 1/A7.0.3, 2/A7.0.3…) at the media wall opening in room #101. Sheet A7.0.3 is not available. Sheet A-2.0.0A. Refer to detail 2/A-7.0.2. The wall type #613 is not available. The existing exterior exit doors require 34” clearance per egress plan (e.g. door #101). I am not sure if the 36” wide door can provide 34” clearance when fully open. Please verify. If the door needs to be enlarged, please submit revised plan and structural design at the next submittal. ID SHEETS Sheet ID 1.0. Show length and depth of each counter. Sheet ID1.0 and ID3.5. Reduce the counter height from 36” to 34” maximum to comply with 11B-205 and 11B-308.6.2 (parallel approach) for accessible operable parts (receptacle outlets, light switches…) above the counter. The operable parts shall be within the reach range. Sheet ID-3.0. Add note to the detail ID-3.0 that LED media wall as deferred submittal item. STRUCTURAL Add to the calculation. Provide loading criteria page to show breakdown of the dead load in pound square feet. Staple all pages in the submitted calculation. Justify why design dead load only 100 pound point load from the hanging ceiling to roof purlin (e.g. Calculation page 49-60. Sheet S102. Show assumed ceiling dead load on the ceiling plan. Detail 15/S200. Design the connection of the hanging ceiling. The connection shall support both gravity and lateral force generated from the ceiling framing. The design vertical load shall also include live load from the ceiling. Sheet S102. Show connection point with dimensions shown on the ceiling framing plan on all 4x6 and 4x8 blockings. Sheet S102.
