Please clarify if building is used for outpatient surgery procedure. Include a statement whether or not there will be non-ambulatory patients or medical care that may render ambulatory patients incapable of unassisted self-preservation and the number of each type of patient.The license holder for the proposed OSHPD 3 clinic shall write a letter addressed to the Building Official describing the services to be offered and if the facility is subject to CBC Section 1226. Clarify use of proposed medical building as I-2.1 or limited to B occupancy only.Sheet T-1. Where sliding doors are in the fully open position, operating hardware shall be exposed and usable from both sides. §11B-404.2.7Interior hinged doors and gates: 5 pounds maximum.Swinging door and gate surfaces within 10 inches of the finish floor or ground measured vertically shall have a smooth surface on the push side extending the full width of the door or gate. Parts creating horizontal or vertical joints in these surfaces shall be within 1/16 inch of the same plane as the other and be free of sharp or abrasive edges. Cavities created by added kick plates shall be capped. §11B-404.2.10Sheet A-2. At the new utility sink, cross reference detail 2/A-2 into the sink AND show minimum 18” from the center of the sink to the partition wall on the plan.Sheet A-2. Detail 1. Specify the fasteners at the bottom of the non-bearing partition in the detail. The connection shall be capable to support the minimum 5 psf horizontal force from the tributary area.END OF COMMENTS
