The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
-Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
- Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
- School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by
the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work.
Sheet 1:
Please revise plan to use ½ (half) address for the ADU (1434 ½ Garnsey Street). Apply to all sheets.
On the plan, please specify minimum 1.64 KWdc Photovoltaic System will be installed prior to building final inspection sign off. A separate permit is required for the Photovoltaic System.
Sheet 1-A: Existing House
Replaced windows shall be required a separate permit application. Please provide permit application for the replaced windows.
Sheet 1-B: Site Drainage plan
Please provide designed engineer’s contact information.
Provide responsible statement from the engineer for the drainage plan.
Please include the engineer signing date.
Sheet 2:
On the plan, please provide/show whole-house vent.
All branch circuits supplying receptacles in residence, except bathroom and garage, shall be protected by a listed arc-fault circuit interrupter (AFCI). Please AFCI receptacles at the kitchen area, in addition to the GFCI.
Please provide smoke alarm outside of the bedroom.
On the plan, please show building heating source. Coordinate with Title 24 calcuation.
Sheet 3:
Roofing: Please revise note to specify 2-layers of felt at roof slope less than 4:12 slope.
Sheet 4:
Foundation plan: Detail 17/4 called out at the front porch post was not applicable. Please revise detail callout to specify 17/5.
