The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Sheet A-1: Cool Roof is required per Title 24 Calculation. Please specify CRRC number for the roofing material on the plan. 2nd Review Comment: Please provide the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) number on the plan. Sheet A-4: Energy Mandatory Measures Summary and Green Code notes provided are under the old code edition. Please provide notes to reflect the 2019 California Energy Code, and California Green Code. 2nd Review Comment: Plan must be legible. Please update notes to the current code edition (2019) and revise notes to be legible. Sheet S2: Please provide lateral resisting system at gridline A and B. Please identify what lateral resisting system are used at line A and B, in accordance with ASCE7-16, Table 12.2-1. 2nd Review Comment: Lateral resisting system provided at line A and B were insufficient. Please provide shear wall in compliance with ASCE7-16 and SDPWS. The lateral system must be capable of transfer lateral loads from the roof diaphragm to foundation.
