Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A0.0:Project information: Per permit record, the building is about 3000 sq.ft. – Please verify the total building floor area. 2nd Review Comment: No response provided nor plan was revised. Please comply with the original comment above. Plan was incomplete. Plan shall be stamped, signed and dated by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer (all sheets). Please provide site accessibility requirement complying with chapter 11B, include the following but not limit to: Accessible parking and signage2nd Review Comment: Sheet A0.1 – The door landing and the truncated dome were encroached into the parking access aisle. Please revise plan to provide accessible parking with access aisle in compliance with 11B-502. Show dimensions, marking and signage.Accessible path of travel from the public sidewalk and from accessible parking to the accessible building entrance. 2nd Review Comment: Pending reviewing the Disable Access Compliance Documentation Form.Accessible route shall be 5% maximum, measured in the direction of travel, and 2% maximum cross-slope, with 48” wide minimum. Provide/show detectable warning, etc. Provide complete details and clearly cross-reference onto the plan.Please note on plan: Automatic Fire Sprinkler system is under a separate review and shall be submitted to Orange County Fire Authority for review and approval. 2nd Review Comment: No response provided. Plan was incomplete. Please provide complete floor plan showing all rooms/spaces, and specify the use of space of each room/space. Provide egress plan complying with Chapter 10 CBC, including occupant load calculation, door schedule and door hardware, exit sign, tactile exit sign, travel distance, etc. 2nd Review Comment: Sheet A0.1 – Please provide door schedule, including door size and door hardware. Provide the following notes on the plan: Egress doors/gates shall be readily openable from the egress ide without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. (1010.1.9) Openable parts of such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 44 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground. The force for pushing or pulling open a door shall be 5-lb maximum. Operable parts shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. A readily visible durable sign posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the main exit door stating: “THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THIS SPACE IS OCCUPIED”, is required. (1010.1.9.4)2nd Review Comment: Please note on plan – “Every Cannabis Business shall implement adequate ventilation system and odor control filtration measures to prevent odors from inside the cannabis facility from being detected outside the cannabis facility, to include building and the unit.”2nd Review Comment: Reviewing of the Disabled Access Compliance Documentation FormUnder section B, the cost of providing complete Disabled Access is $5000.0 – Please explain why an automatic sliding door is needed. Why a regular swing door not being used? Using $13,000 for the door and does not spend more money to upgrade other accessible features appeared unreasonable. On the plan, please show location of the sliding door. Please coordinate and revise the form accordingly.Provide/show location of accessible restrooms. Restrooms shall be accessible to persons with disabilities and shall comply with Chapter 11B, Division 6. PLANS WERE INCOMPLETE. PLAN REVIEW WILL CONTINUE AT TIME OF RESUBMITTAL AND ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ARE REQUIRED. PLAN CHECK FEE WAS UNDERSTATED AND ADDITIONAL PLAN CHECK FEE IS REQUIRED.
