The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
-Health Department approval.
PLAN CHECK COMMENTS
All submitted drawings and supporting documents (including the design is shown on either SP or Landscape sheets) shall be prepared, stamped, and signed by a California licensed architect or registered professional engineer. (CBC 107.1 and 107.3.4.1).
ARCHITECTURAL
Sheet SP-001. Revise sheet index to list all sheet number and description of each sheet. Missing sheet SPS-100 and SPS-101.
Obtain building permit for all fence walls enclosing the pool. Structural design is required.
Provide missing architectural detail for the pool enclosure:
Cabana wall. Refer to plan on sheet LC.3. The note #3.5 for detail A.LC.11.
Accent wall. Refer to plan on sheet LC.3. The note #1.3 for detail A.LC.16.
EGRESS
Posting of Occupant Loads (CBC 1004.9): Show location of the occupant load sign on plan.The enclosed pool area that is used for an assembly purpose shall have the capacity of the space posted in a conspicuous place on an approved sign near the main exit or exit-access doorway.Per building egress design, total 193 occupant load (166+27=193) is within the enclosed pool area.

STRUCTURAL
All structural drawings and structural calculation shall be prepared, stamped, and signed by a California licensed architect or registered professional engineer.
Provide structural calculation and detail for the wall framing and anchorage to the podium slab of the pool enclosure walls, which are shown on the landscape plan: (CBC, ASCE 7-16)
