Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet T-2.0: Allowable building area: It’s appeared that the total building area is 12,800 square feet. Please provide area analysis to justify the building type of construction and allowable area per Chapter 5. Frontage increase per Section 506.3 may be applied. 2nd Review Comment: Response was incomplete. Those fire-rated wall may be a fire barrier but not a fire wall. Fire wall shall comply with Section 706, including structural stability and vertical continuity. It may consider a mix-used building and may comply with the allowable area under Section 508.4.2. The building area shall be such that the sum of the ratios of the actual building area of each separated occupancy divided by the allowable building area of each separated occupancy shall not exceed 1.Each portion of a building separated by one or more fire walls complying with Section 706 shall be considered to be a separate building.2nd Review Comment: Please see comment above regarding to fire wall requirement. You may contact plan checker to discuss. Sheet A-2.2: Corridors: Corridor serving building with occupant load of more than 30 occupants shall be fire-rated. Please revise plan to show fire-rated corridors in accordance with Section 1020.2nd Review Comment:Fire-rate corridor: For clarity, please clearly show/designate one-hour wall. Provide one-hour wall legend. Provide construction details for one-hour wall assembly and one-hour ceiling assembly. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. The fire-rated corridor shall not be interrupted by intervening reception hallway. Please redesign the floor plan to remove the door and wall between the lobby and work-up hallway. Sheet D-1.4: Detail 8/D-1.4: Please revise detail to show all required dimensions in accordance with Section 11B-602. 2nd Review Comment: Please revise detail to show location of the spout at 5” minimum measure from the from the front edge of the fixture, and 15” minimum measure from the support wall. The spout height for standing person shall be at 38” minimum and 44” maximum.
