All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.The drawings/information submitted for Building Safety Division review is incomplete. The applicant shall, prior to resubmitting, complete all construction documents to show compliance with the 2019 California Building Standards Code with local amendments.Clearly indicate the scope of work under this building permit application:
- Revise project job description on the building permit application worksheet to reflect the work to be done
under the subject building permit application.
- Construction drawings must clearly show all work to be done under the subject building permit application.
- Delete all notes and details from drawings that are not a part of the work to be done under the subject building
permit application. This includes mechanical, plumbing and electrical work that is not specifically required by
the Building Code.Include address and telephone number of the responsible architect, licensed by the State of California.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)PLAN CHECK COMMENTS (PARTIALLY REVIEW)The valuation is not available for this revision. Submit a signed copy of the contract showing labor and materials for all work to be done under the subject building permit application. The plan check engineer may accept the contract price as the valuation of improvements for unique/unusual projects in lieu of using a cost per square foot basis.This revision is limited to the new work only. Please revise plans to show only the new work in the scope and on the drawings which is not part of the previous building permit (101102906). Please do not duplicateimprovements from previous permit on this submittal. Revise plan and clarify. The current submittal is unclear.Sheet C1-AHJ. Clarify the scope of work description. (Per architect’s note from WD partners, all changes are identified as Plan Revision ADD #3 with delta symbol 6; however, more work shown on plans):Add note to the scope of work description that “THIS REVIEW AND APPROVAL ONLY APPLIES TO DELTA 4 AND DELTA 6 REVISION.” Revise work description showing only delta 4 and delta 6 for this permit. In the description, all the proposed work shall be indicated on the description of the scope. Remove all other items not for this permit. (Please compare with the approval drawings (101102906))Obtain building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing permit for:Proposed improvement in tenant improvement and revision area.The rooftop units (refer to roof plan on sheet A4). Add them to the scope of work including numbers of units to be newly installed or altered.Walk-in cooler, freezer, racks and equipment in the pickup storage room (946) and outside garden center (501). For foam plastic having a thickness that does not exceed 4” refer to Section 2603.4.1.3 of CBC. Provide complete wall construction detail to show compliance. Note ICC Research Report Number on the drawings for Walk-in cooler and or freezer.Provide complete equipment schedule on plan.
