If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Final plan shall be stamped, signed and dated by the architect of record.Plan was incomplete. Additional comment may be required at time of resubmittal. 2nd Review Comment: Response was incomplete nor plan was not revised. The following plan check comments are required. Sheet C-1: Truncated dome provided at the back of the parking access aisle is not required. Please relocate the truncated dome to the front of the access aisle (within the pedestrian way). See markup plan. In addition to the guardrail, please provide/show truncated dome on the right side of the guardrail. See markup plan. Truncated dome provided on the right side of the building are not required. Please revise plan to show truncated dome around the egress gate and remove all the excess truncated dome. See markup plan. Sheet A1-2: Proposed Floor plan – Plan must be legible. Adding additional sheet may be necessary. For clarity, please update plan to ¼:1 scale so that wall type can be easily differentiated. Please use different wall types (lines) for fire-rated wall vs. nonrated walls. Coordinate and revise wall Legend accordingly. Clearly show/provide fire-rated wall at distribution entrance 102. Provide opening protection accordingly. Corridor #3 at the Vendor Entrance: Corridor shall be continued to an exit door – Please provide wall separate to create a corridor through the vendor entrance (separate the corridor door and the freezers area). See markup plan. Please provide construction detail for the fire-rated wall. Fire-rated wall shall be extended from slab to the underside of roof sheathing. Provide wall section as necessary. Detail shall clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Detail 1 provided on sheet A-1.2 did not comply with one-hour rated wall. Provide detail for fire-rated corridor ceiling. Detail shall clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Provide detail for interior partition walls. Clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Coordinate with site plan for location of required truncated dome. Reminder: If the plans are not prepared by the architect of record, it’s the responsible of the licensed architect of record to review for code compliance prior to stamp and sign the plan. Sheet A-2.2: Ceiling PlanPlan must be legible. Please increase font size and contrast. On the plan, please clearly indicate suspended ceiling vs. hard (drywall) ceiling. Provide framing plan and detail for hard ceiling area. Please provide complete legend information. Sheet A-3.1: Please coordinate plan with required information on sheet A1-2. Provide wall at corridor #3 to create a corridor separating from the freezers area. Revise wall types and coordinate with wall legend for fire-rated wall vs. nonrated wall. Details provided on sheet A-3.1: Please clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Detail 1: Please revise to delete information related to residential and outdated code. Detail 1: Please coordinate construction material – wood studs vs. metal studs. Sheet A4-1: Please coordinate with revised floor plan to revise plan to match. Sheet S-1: ON the plan, please specify maximum weight of the roof top unit. Structural calculation shall be stamped, signed, and dated by a licensed architect or registered civil engineer. Please provide calculation and detail for the roof top attachment (anchorage to roof). On the plan, please clearly identify existing roof equipment and new equipment. *Note: Additional plan check fee will be required after the third submittal and thereafter.
