(CBC Chapter 3) - Type of Construction for the entire building. Provide the design of that door complying with egress and accessibility requirement. The opening of the exterior wall requires stamped and signed structural plans, calculation and details by the professional engineer.Sheet A-1. Delete designated egress routes to the roll-up doors.Sheet A-1. Unit 940 appears only have one exit outside the office. Revise travel distance, measured from the remotest point to the rear exit door. Provide and show tactile exit signs complying with Section 11B-703 and in accordance with Section 1013.4 at the new exit door. (CBC 11B-202.4)Show on the site plan accessible routes that comply with the following: At least one accessible route shall be provided within the site from accessible parking spaces to the accessible building entrance of unit 938 they serve. Where more than one route is provided, all routes must be accessible. (CBC 11B-206.2.1)On the site plan, show and define the required accessible path of travel: 48 in minimum width walkway, 1:20 (5%) maximum slope in the direction of travel, 1:48 (2%) maximum cross-slope. Detectable Warning (11B-247): Provide detectable warnings where a walk crosses or adjoins a vehicular way and the walking surfaces are not separated by curbs, railing or other elements between the pedestrian areas and vehicular areas. Show location and detectable warning details (dome size, spacing, color…).The new gates on the fence and the new office exterior door shall be accessible, complying with CBC 11B-404.
