CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDMENTSThe applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).Provide structural calculation, framing/foundation plans and connection details for the new heavy equipment installed:Enclosure 6160 (A-3 detail 7, 320 pound). Design anchorage and structural support.Enclosure B160 (A-4 detail 4, 1880 pound). Design anchorage and structural support.Justify the existing structure for the alteration of all floor mounted equipment.PC2: Not complete resolved. In addition to structural analysis report, provide structural framing, foundation plans, and equipment anchorage details. Justify the existing steel beam and its support which supporting the 1880 pound equipment. Show assumed minimum steel beam dimensions and span on the framing plan per structural analysis.Plans are in a minimum 24”x36” paper and stamped, dated, and signed by Licensed Structural Engineer, Shawn Stevenson.PC3:a. In “equipment anchorage calculation report”, analysis page 6 through 25 appears does not verify the connection of the platform to the building structural and building structural being supported. Platform framing plan are not available as well. Provide connection design.b. Detail 6/A-4 shows (e)steel beam per plan. Which plan? Specify minimum dimensions for verification.c. Analysis page 6 through 25 shows W10x39 steel beam, but does not match detail 6/A-4. (L4 angel and steel beam does not specify). Please clarify on sheet A4 on plan. Show RISA design into structural framing plans.d. Provide structural floor framing plan to show the platform construction. Specify the minimum steel framing members and connection details to support the equipment.
