If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans. Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Please provide estimate costs for the projectincluding labor and materials for all work to be done under the subject building permit application.Provide enlarged floor plan in work room which refers to sheet A402.Update sheet index to include all sheets in this submittal.Show width of the hallway #225A and hallway #225B on the floor plan.Specify a heavy duty suspended ceiling T-bar grid system with ICC number. [ASCE 7, Sec. 13.5.6.2.2]Show minimum 2 inch wide angle closer. One end of the ceiling grid shall be attached to the closure angle. The other end in each horizontal direction shall have a 0.75 inch clearance from the wall and shall be free to slide on a closer angle. (ASCE 7-16 Section 13.5.6.2.2.)EGRESSCBC Section 1004.3, Posting of occupant load. Every room or space that is assembly occupancy shall have the occupant load of the room or space posted in a conspicuous place, near the main exit or exit access doorway from the room or space. Posted signs shall be of an approved legible permanent design and shall be maintained by the owner or authorized agent.Note on the floor plan the use and occupancy load of each room and/or area. Relate each use to a CBC Table item. Note occupant loads which are the greater number based on CBC Section 1004 and Table 1004.1.1 or the actual number of occupants. See red marks on sheet G-008.CBC Section 1005.7.1. Doors, when fully opened, and handrails shall not reduce the required width by more than 7”. Door #230 and #230A which swinging into corridor do not comply. See red marks on sheet A-101.CBC Section 1020.5, Air movement in corridors. Corridors shall not serve as supply, return, exhaust, relief or ventilation air ducts when required to be fire-resistive rated in accordance with Table 1020.1.Provide exit signs at each turn of the egress path. The exit signs shall be readily visible from any direction of egress travel and clearly indicate the direction of egress travel. See red marks on sheet G-008. [CBC 1013]Tactile exit signs shall be required at the following locations. Revise floor plan to show signage location: (See red marks on sheet A-101) - Each exit access door from an interior room or area to a corridor or hallway, which is required to have a visual exit sign, shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the words “EXIT ROUTE.”Sheet A-600. Operable parts of door hardware shall be 34” minimum and 44” maximum above the finish floor or ground. (CBC 11B-404.2.7)ACCESSIBILITYProvide 18 inches maneuvering clearances for forward approach on the door pull side when any obstruction at any interior doors. Show dimensions on the floor plan and revise gate #227 where the maneuvering space is also missing.Per note #5 on sheet A400, please provide restroom door and wall mounted signage on detail 11/G-006 on plan. Refer to the sample signage details on the DSA Bulletin BU 17-01. (11B-216.2, 11B-703.7.2.6).END OF COMMENTS
