All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet 1: Please provide the following note on plan: Every Cannabis Business shall implement adequate ventilation system and odor control filtration measures to prevent odors from inside the cannabis facility from being detected outside the cannabis facility, to include building and the unit.Occupancy groups: Please specify occupancy groups for the proposed tenant improvement in accordance with the Chapter 3 (M, B, S-1?). On the plan, please provide/specify the scope of work – create opening within new door in existing demising wall to combine suites A & B into one suite. Existing accessible parking stalls: Please provide details to include dimensions marking, and signage to show compliance with the current code. (11B-502)Please show an accessible path of travel from the accessible parking spaces to the building primary accessible entrance. Accessible path of travel shall be 5% maximum, 2% cross-slope and 48” minimum width. Exist door open directly into the parking space: Please show parked car cannot block the exit doorway. Show dimension in front of parking stall. There will be no suite for the proposed building. Please omit/delete Unit number (A&B) on the site plan. It appears that there is a sliding gate at the patio leading to the main entry door – Please remove sliding gate or replace with accessible swing door/gate. Sheet 2: Door L appears to be new door in new opening created in existing demising wall – Please clarify. Reminder: work without permit is considered new work under this permit application. Restrooms: Please provide restroom plans with dimensions and details to show compliance with the current code, Chapter 11B, Division 6. On the plan, please provide description describing the use of the “work rooms”. Sheet 3: If all roof equipment are existing, please clearly state “existing” on the roof plan. Sheet 4: Please show/provide exit tactile sign at each exit door.
