Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.

- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)PLAN CHECK COMMENTS:Sheet A600. Revise door schedule to coordinate with the floor plan. Provide door design to comply with fire protection (CBC Ch7), egress (CBC Ch10) and accessibility (CBC Ch11) requirements.Provide rated-door design at the corridor to comply with CBC Section 716.2.2. When corridor walls are required to be of one-hour fire-resistive construction by Section 1020, every interior door opening shall be protected by a tight-fitting smoke-and-draft-control assembly having a fire-protection rating of not less than 20 minutes. Viewport in 20-minute rated door limited to 1” in diameter. Said doors shall not have louvers.Door #307 and door #336. The lobby shall completely separate the elevators from the corridor by construction conforming to Section 1020.1 and all openings into the lobby wall contiguous with the corridor shall be protected as required by CBC Section 715.4.3.Provide dimensions of the fixed glazing in the partition wall at Office #327 and #328 on plan.Detail 4/A501. Indicate the thickness of fixed glazing partition on the drawings. (CBC 2403.4)Specify a heavy duty suspended ceiling T-bar grid system with ICC number. [ASCE 7, Sec. 13.5.6.2.2]Show minimum 2 inch wide angle closer. One end of the ceiling grid shall be attached to the closure angle. The other end in each horizontal direction shall have a 0.75 inch clearance from the wall and shall be free to slide on a closer angle. (ASCE 7-16 Section 13.5.6.2.2.)Sheet A501. Detail 7. Provide partition bracing anchor detail for attachment parallel and perpendicular to flutes. Every room or space that is assembly occupancy shall have the occupant load of the room or space posted in a conspicuous place, near the main exit or exit access doorway from the room or space. Posted signs shall be of an approved legible permanent design and shall be maintained by the owner or authorized agent.Note on the floor plan the use and occupancy load of each room and/or area. Relate each use to a CBC Table item. Note occupant loads which are the greater number based on CBC Section 1004 and Table 1004.1.1 or the actual number of occupants. See red marks on sheet G-008.CBC Section 1020.5, Air movement in corridors. Corridors shall not serve as supply, return, exhaust, relief or ventilation air ducts when required to be fire-resistive rated in accordance with Table 1020.1.Provide exit signs at each turn of the egress path. The exit signs shall be readily visible from any direction of egress travel and clearly indicate the direction of egress travel. See red marks on sheet G-008. [CBC 1013]Tactile exit signs shall be required at the following locations. Revise floor plan to show signage location: (See red marks on sheet A-101)
- Each exit access door from an interior room or area to a corridor or hallway, which is required to have a visual
exit sign, shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the words “EXIT ROUTE.”Sheet A-600. Operable parts of door hardware shall be 34” minimum and 44” maximum above the finish floor or ground. (CBC 11B-404.2.7)ACCESSIBILITYProvide 18 inches maneuvering clearances for forward approach on the door pull side when any obstruction at any interior doors.
