( drawings dimensions don’t match 3/ 16 scale)Label and note hourly fire rating of: - All corridors - Fire walls - Fire barriers - Shafts - Stair enclosuresProvide bottom track guage for parking to detail 5/D1 and 19/D1.Identify ceiling type on each area.Complete all soffit and furred out wall details. Provide complete detailing, including number, type, location of fasteners and how attachment is made to the building structure. Show compliance with CBC Section 803. ( For office 910, not clear is it new or existing) Provide detail for T-bar ceiling and gypsum ceiling attached to the structure above.Provide ESR 1222 report.Provide complying exiting plan for the smaller unit. Provide suite number for the smaller unit.An exit access shall not pass through a room that can be locked to prevent egress.Please note door # 15 and 11 cannot be locked and doesn’t have lock, since they are being used as an exit. Note on drawing: “Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort.”CBC Section 11B-404.2.7 Hand-activated door opening hardware shall be centered between 30” and 44” above the floor. Latching and locking doors that are hand activated and which are in a path of travel shall be operable with a single effort by lever-type hardware, by panic bars, push-pull activating bars, or other hardware designed to provide passage without requiring the ability to grasp the opening hardware. Locked exit doors shall operate as above in egress direction.CBC Section 11B-404.2.9, Note on the drawings: “Maximum effort to operate doors shall not exceed 5 pounds for exterior doors and interior doors, such pull or push effort being applied at right angles to hinged doors and at the center place of sliding or folding doors. Compensating devices or automatic door operators may be utilized to meet the above standards. When fire doors are required, the maximum effort to operate the door may be increased to the minimum allowable by the appropriate administrative authority, not to exceed 15 pounds.Show microwave complies with accessibility.Exit illumination and exit sign requirements in accordance with CBC Section 1013shall be shown on the drawings. Be specific as to the type of exit signs to be installed.CBC Section 1013.1. Provide a directional exit sign at changes in exiting direction.Provide tactile sign for door used as an exit route.Permit number 10199976 referenced on T-1 sheet is for 5th, 6th and 7th floor bathrooms upgrade, not for 9thfloor .please see comment # 29.Drawings submitted to the Building Division for review shall provide the following information to insure compliance with CBC Section 11B-202.4: - An accessible entrance - An accessible route to the altered area - Accessible restrooms - Accessible telephone (if any) - Accessible drinking fountains, and - Parking, signage and alarmsEnlarge path of travel from parking to the building to show compliance with accessibility.Show 7”- 9” clearance from toilet to the toilet paper dispenser.No pictogram allowed on the bathroom doors.Complete the attached Disabled Accessibility Documentation Form.Provide on the drawings a complete window schedule showing: - Window sizes - Type and thickness of glazing (type of safety glazing for hazardous locations noted under CBC Section 2406.3Glass shall be firmly supported on all four edges. Show on the drawings how compliance shall be made with CBC Section 2403. For glass not firmly supported on all four edges, design shall be submitted to the building official for approval. ( Provide engineering calculation and detail for the glass walls )Is soffit in room 910 and 911 existing or new, and provide detail how the glass wall goes through the soffit.Provide engineering framing plan and detail for new gypsum board ceiling, detail 17/D1.Provide detail how beam on detail 15/D2 is supported. Justify 1 /4 “ glazing could span for 6 x 8’-10” .Call detail 18/ D2 at theend of the wall.Provide calculation for detail 12/ D2 for the beam and how the beam is suppoted.
