All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)A soil report for the specific address/location is required. Please provide an addendum report/letter from the soil engineer for the use of existing soil report. 2nd Review Comment: Soil investigation report by KCG KLING Consulting Group, dated October 13, 2020; Subject to 3901 S Main Street – Please clearly specify “FOR REFERENCE ONLY”.Excavation areas: Please provide details and procedure for the excavation, including shoring details and backfill material and re-compaction. The exaction details and procedure shall be reviewed by a registered civil engineer. Engineering stamp, signature and date are required. 2nd Review Comment: For clarity, please provide diagrams for excavation schedule showing existing building footing, point of excavation, slope, depth, etc. Also, provide slab plan to show new slab construction information after the backfill.Please provide details to show protection of the existing building footing during the excavation. 2nd Review Comment: Please see comment above.
