If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- County of Orange Health Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings ((714)433-6000)Sheet TS000: On the plan, please provide statement to describe the general business operation of the proposed use. Sheet Index: Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical are under separate review and approval. For clarity, please omit the MEP info under the Sheet Index, or note “Under Separate Review”. Sheet AS001: Please provide/show an accessible path of travel from the public sidewalk to the building accessible entrance. New concrete walkway: Please show minimum width. New curb ramp: Please provide curb ramp detail and clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Truncated dome: Please provide truncated detail and clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Accessible parking: Please provide details for accessible parking stalls, access aisle, signage and marking. Details shall be clearly cross-reference onto the plan. Note #22: new concrete topping at the exterior door – Please show minimum 5-ft level landing for door landing. Sheet AS002: On the plan, please provide/show exit sign and tactile exit signs at exit door. Sheet A100: On the plan, please clearly show existing vs. new wall. Coordinate with Wall Type Legend and revise wall legend as necessary. Please provide construction details for each wall type. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. On the plan, please reference to sheet A600 for Door Schedule. Please clarify whether fire-rated doors are required at the fire-rated hallway. Referenced door elevation type C on sheet A600: Door with ceramic glass panel – Please show the bottom of the glazed panel located maximum 43” above the finish floor. Sheet A120: Please show exit sign at door 000B, and 100ACeiling note #3 did not reflect with the plan. Please clearly differentiate between ceiling light and suspended ceiling. Please provide construction detail for ceiling support and finishing. Sheet A130: Please show location of roof access. Sheet A400: Restroom detailPlease relabel restroom as for Women’s Restroom and Men’s Restroom. The restroom where the door swing inward – the door shall not encroach more than 12” into the clear turning space. Revise enlarged plan and floor plan accordingly. Please reference to appropriate details/information on sheet TS003 for accessible features. Water heaters: Please provide structural details and straps for water heater support. Sheet A900 & A901: Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Provide detail of fire-rated shafts for kitchen type I hood. Or, provide UL listed fire-rated duct wrap. Structural Review Comment:Detail 5/S900: Please specify minimum number of screws required between curb and existing roof frame. Provide wall details to show support at roof connection. Reminder: Fire-rated wall shall be extended from foundation to the underside of roof sheathing. Please provide detail to show support of the new Box beam at wall. Detail shall be clearly cross-reference onto the plan. At line J: new Box beam occurred at the roof drain – Please provide detail to show support of the new Box beam. Provide construction details for the cooler and freezer.
