If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Final plan shall be stamped, signed and dated by the architect of record.Plan was incomplete. Additional comment may be required at time of resubmittal. 3rd Review Comment: Response was incomplete nor plan was not revised. The following plan remain unresolved. Sheet C-1: Occupancy group was changed to ‘H’. OCFA approved for B, F-1, S-1 occupancies. Please coordinate and resubmittal plans to OCFA for group ‘H’ occupancies. Please check for building allowable area under chapter 5 for an H occupancy. H occupancy may not be allow in this building due to fire separation distance required under Section 415, CBC. If permitted, please clearly identify what type of ‘H’ occupancy is this. Truncated dome: Please revise plan to show/provide the minimum width of the truncated dome strip to be 3-ft wide. Sheet A – 1.2: Proposed Floor plan – Plan must be legible. Adding additional sheet is necessary. It is hard to identify wall type on the floor plan. Please enlarged plan to 1/4":1’ scale so that wall type can be easily differentiated. Distribution entrance/lobby: Please specify fire-rated door and window in fire-rated wall. The exit corridor should be keep clear and unobstructed – Please omit/remove note 30 and any type of storage in the corridor. Truncated dome: Please revise plan to show/provide the minimum width of the truncated dome strip to be 3-ft wide.Fire-rated wall: Fire-rated wall shall be extended from slab to the underside of roof sheathing. Provide wall section. Detail shall clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Provide detail for fire-rated corridor ceiling. Detail shall clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Provide details on plans and provide verification of a tested assembly to achieve the required fire-rating. If the plans are not prepared/drawn by the architect of record, it’s the responsible of the licensed architect of record to review for code compliance prior to stamp and sign the plans. Sheet A-3.1: It is hard to identify wall type on the floor plan. Please enlarged plan to 1/4":1’ scale so that wall type can be easily differentiated.Sheet S-1: ON the plan, please specify maximum weight of the roof top unit. Structural calculation shall be stamped, signed, and dated by a licensed architect or registered civil engineer. Please provide calculation and detail for the roof top attachment (anchorage to roof). On the plan, please clearly identify existing roof equipment and new equipment. **OCFA REVIEW AND APPROVAL FOR THE PROPOSED H OCCUPANCIES ARE REQUIRED PRIOR TO BUILDING PLAN CHECK TO CONTINUE***Note: Additional plan check fee will be required after the third submittal and thereafter.
