Approval Required and General Instruction
All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet T.1: Reminder: Please submit plan to Fire Department for review and approval of the proposed CO2 tank. On the plan, please provide the following information: Applicable Codes: 2016 CBC, CMC, CEC, CPC. Building Occupancy groups (B, F-1, S-1)Scope work under this permit application: New CO2 tank and Vaporizers and concrete supporting pad.Structural plan and calculation: Structural calculation: Please revise calculation limit soil bearing pressure to 1500 psf. Revise plan as necessary. Structural calculation: Please provide anchorage calculation for when tank is empty (tare weight). Revise plan as necessary. Foundation plan: Please show dimension (distance) measure from the centerline of the tank to the edge of concrete pad; and to the edge of the adjacent required footing supporting the vaporizers. Please specify the total number of steel rebar are required (coordinate with structural calculation). Vaporizer: Please show distances between supporting anchored footing. Structural plan: Please specify concrete strength, fc’ = 3000 psi minimum (per calculation), and special inspection is required for concrete strength greater than 2500 psi.
