The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
-Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
- Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
Sheet 2:
Wall located less than 5-ft away from the property line shall be protected with one-hour fire-rated construction. Please show fire-rated wall on the plan and provide detail construction. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan.
3rd Review Comment:Plan was no revised nor response was provided. Please revise floor plan to show one-hour fire-rated wall for the South and West walls. Walls shall be constructed with 5/8” type ‘X’ on the inner face and 7/8” thick stucco on the exterior face of wall. Provide detail and clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan.
3rd Review Comment: Window emergency escape window (Window C) – please revise window schedule to provide 4x4 slider window minimum. The 4x4 single hung window did not meet required clear opening.
3rd Review Comment: Please provide/show attic access (22” x 30”) with 30” clear headroom.
3rd Review Comment: Plan was not revised. Cool roof is required per Title 24 Calculation. On the plan, please provide CRRC number for the required cool roof. The UL number is different than CRRC number.

Roof framing plan:
Please provide detail to show transfer of lateral loads from roof diaphragm (sheathing) to interior shear wall panel.
3rd Review Comment:Interior shear wall is provided. Please provide detail to provide/show wall continue to roof sheathing for transfer of diaphragm load to shear wall.
Foundation plan:
Please provide detail of hold-down anchor to foundation. Detail shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan.
3rd Review Comment: Please provide detail for hold-down anchor from wall to foundation.
Detail 9/4: Please revise detail to show/provide concrete curb minimum 2” above concrete slab and 6” above exposed earth.
3rd Review Comment: Please revise detail to provide one inch (1”) air gap stand-off between exterior slab and wood post.
Please provide complete framing plan and details for the unpermitted attached patio cover. Structural calculation may be required. Plan review will continue at time of resubmittal.
