The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Sheet A-2: Building Section referenced to sheet S-2 was not applicable. Please reference to sheet A-3 for building section. Per City Ordinance, provide a cooking facility with appliances, foodpreparation counter and storage cabinets. One-hour fire-rated wall is required for exterior wall located less than 5-ft from the property line. On the plan, please clearly show/designed one-hour wall and provide construction detail. Wall separating two sleeping unit shall be protected with one-hour fire-rated wall. Wall shall extended from floor/slab to the underside of roof sheathing. Please provide detail and clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Sheet U-1: Please show/provide carbon monoxide alarm in the JADU and in existing house at the hallway giving access into each bedroom. Sheet S.1: Wall between existing and new addition: Please show/provide shear wall. Design wall for existing + new loads.
