Required Approval and General Instruction
All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A-1: Accessible Restroom: In additional to the notes, please provide restroom interior elevations to show fixtures height, grab bars extension and mounting height, toilet paper dispenser location, etc. Drinking Foundations: Please provide details for drinking fountains to show high and low conditions (people on wheelchair and standing person). Please show/provide an accessible route from accessible entrance to the accessible elevators (1st floor) to the area of alteration (3rd floor). Sheet DA-1: Details provided must be legible. Updated details to show comply and referenced to the current code edition (2019 CBC). Delete/omit detail that does not apply to the project. Referenced sheet A-05, A-05.1 and A-05.2: Referenced sheets were provided for referenced only. The site shall be made (upgraded) accessible to persons with disabilities and comply with the current code edition (2019). Provide updated site plan with the following information: Provide/show an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the building primary entrance. Accessible route shall be 5% sloped maximum, measured in the direction of travel, 2% maximum cross-slope. Slope exceed 5% shall be complied with ramp per Section 11B-405. Detectable warning (truncated dome) provided in the parking lot (at the accessible parking area) did not comply with the current code. Please remove/omit truncated dome where it’s not required.
