The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. -Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by the Public Works Agency (647-5039). Sheet A1: Under Scope of work: Please revise solar PV note to specify PV system shall be permitted prior to framing inspection. Note on plan: Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing are not part of this plan review approval and subject to field inspection. Sheet A2: On the plan, please show door landing at each exterior door. Landing shall be 36” measured in the direction of travel. Sheet A3: On the plan, please specify radiant barrier is required. Sheet S1: On the plan, please provide roof sheathing specification, include thickness and nailing schedule. On the plan, please specify radiant barrier underneath the roof sheathing is required, per Title 24 calculation. On the plan, please specify minimum concrete strength of 4000 psi, per soil report. Foundation: Please specify minimum 5” thick concrete slab and use 15 mil visqueen, per soil report. Flood Zone A: This project is in a special flood hazard area designated on the flood insurance rate map (FIRM) as zone A. Please provide the following: Elevation Certificate must be fill out completely (Section A8, A9). Please use “N/A” for not applicable. Elevation Certificate Section D: Base Flood Elevation (BFE) = Exiting HAG +1ft were not accurate. Please provide support documents to determine the base flood elevation. Elevation Certificate Section F: Please provide signature and date. Elevation Certificate: Please revise job address to reflect plan (1013 N. Elaine Dr., Unit #2. Final Elevation certificate (EC) shall be reproduced/imprinted onto the plan.
