This review does not include mechanical, plumbing or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). Sheet A-1. Show total interior remodel square footage in the scope of work description on plan. Sheet A-1. Provide more detailed description for the extent of the scope of work under this building permit on plan. Sheet A-1. Add note to scope on plan: This permit does not include window change-out. Sheet A-3. Show proposed new air condition unit on the site plan. Sheet A-3/1. Transpose hand-written notes into the drawing (e.g. engineer verification for removing non-load bearing walls). Sheet A-4. Provide a section or details showing the top and bottom anchorage for the interior non-bearing partitions. Show details for both perpendicular and parallel to ceiling or floor joists condition. Sheet A-4. Show carbon monoxide alarms outside all sleeping rooms and at each level on the floor plan. CO alarms shall be listed in accordance with UL 2034. CO alarms shall be listed in accordance with UL 2075. CO alarms shall be interconnected such that the activation of one alarm will activate all alarms in the individual dwelling unit. Sheet A-4. Provide dimensions on all NEW interior partitions on plan. Sheet A-4. Provide dimensions at the shower enclosure. Show minimum shower area of 1024 square inches finished dimension and ability to encompass a 30-inch diameter circle on plan. Note on plans: “Shower compartments and bathtubs with installed shower heads shall be finished with a nonabsorbent surface that exceeds to a height of not less than 6 feet above floor.” Sheet A-4.
