Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700)Provide ceiling plan and ceiling design at the interior remodel area including structural framing design.Indicate the ceiling height AND the roof height on planProvide ICC approval numberof the metal studs for metal frame partitions.Identify on plan on each new partition for type of bracing at the top and bottom of the partition. (e.g. diagonal bracing or full height wall). Cross reference connection details from sheet A502 into the wall legend.Justify the design of the metal studs and diagonal bracing. Specify the maximum design height of the metal stud and maximum vertical distance above the ceiling in detail 9 and detail 10.The walls and soffits within enclosed usable spaces under enclosed and unenclosed stairways shall be protected by 1-hour fire-resistance-rated construction or the fire-resistance rating of the stairway enclosure, whichever is greater. Access to the enclosed space shall not be directly from within the stairway enclosure.ACCESSIBILITYSite plan. Clarify if the two of the existing accessible parking occurs near the east side of the building entrance.Site plan.Show detailed information, including dimensions, on existing accessible parking, ramps, and walksto verify conformance with the current requirements. If yes, provide a statement, signed and dated by the license architect in record, that the licensed architect in record has inspected and certified the existing path of travel is fully comply with 2019 CBC chapter 11B. If not, clearly indicate the elements and details to be upgraded on the drawings. In addition, fill out the “Disable access compliance form” to indicate the upgrades.An existing drinking fountain is removed. (Refer to sheet A101 note D10). Please justify the number of the remaining drinking fountains complied with the required number in plumbing code and at least 50% shall be accessible. Provide fixture count to justify. Show location of all existing and indicate accessible drinking fountains and provide accessible design on plan. (CPC and CBC 11B-602)Refer to sheet A401. Door #107 which access to the accessible shower shall be accessible. Revise design to comply with maneuvering space requirement and 11B-404.END OF COMMENTS
