If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A-1.1: On the plan, please show accessible parking spaces and provide an accessible path of travel to the building primary entrance. 2nd Review Comment: Accessible parking stall – Please revise parking stall to show compliance with 11B-502. Show international l symbol of accessibility 36” x 36” and the head of the symbol is facing in the same direction of the forward approach. Please clearly cross-reference to detail 16/A-0.1 for accessible parking information. Detail 16/A-01: Access aisle marking – Please specify the access aisle mark with a blue painted borderline around the perimeter and white hatched lines at 36 inches on center. Door leading to the accessible parking: Please show/provide 36” strip of truncated dome around the door maneuver space. Accessible path of travel shall be 5% maximum slope, measured in the direction of travel, 2% maximum cross-slope and 48” wide minimum. Specify on the plan. 2nd Review Comment: On the plan, please specify the accessible route shall be 5% maximum slope, measured in the direction of travel, 2% maximum cross-slope. On the plan, please clarify the job address. Is it 900 or 915 or both? 2nd Review Comment:If the 900 address does not exist, please revise the floor plan to show 915 instead. A separate building permit is required for the 900 E. Washington Ave for the alteration due to the proposed 915 E. Washing Ave. A separate submittal, plan review and approval is required for this address prior to building permit issuance of the proposed 915 E. Washington. Sheet A-1.2: A complete floor plan is required. Please provide complete floor plan; partial floor plan is insufficient. 2nd Review Comment: Wall Legend – Please provide Wall Legend to include the proposed (new) walls. Please provide enlarged restroom plans to show all required dimensions and clear floor space as per Chapter 11B, Division 6. 2nd Review Comment: Restroom elevation detail on sheet A-1.2.1 – Please revise elevation B to show toilet paper dispenser located at a distance of 7”-9”, measured from the front edge of the water closet to the centerline of the dispenser. 2nd Review Comment: Interior door and window – Please provide door and window schedule, including door hardware. Detail 3, wall W1: Please provide detail to show attachment of diagonal braces to structural roof frame members. 2nd Review Comment: Detail 3 on sheet A-1.2.1 – Wall shall be supported by structural member (roof joists / beam) above. Please provide/revise details to show wall top track and diagonal bracing supported by the roof framing (not roof deck). Egress plan: Please provide an egress plan showing means of egress for the proposed suite and adjacent suite. 2nd Review Comment: Warehouse area – Please show/provide any equipment or/and racking/shelves layout at the warehouse area. **PLAN WAS INCOMPLETE. PLAN REVIEW WILL CONTINUE AT TIME OF RESUBMITTAL. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY BE REQUIRED.
