The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Sheet 1: Please specify “A minimum 1.0 kWdc photovoltaic system is required to be installed for the proposed ADU. Photovoltaic system may be submitted under a separate permit and shall be installed prior to building frame inspection request.” Sheet 2: Fire-rated wall – Please revise detail to provide 5/8” type ‘X’ gypsum board on the inside only and specify 7/8” minimum stucco finish on the outside. Sheet 1 and 2: For your information, one-hour fire-rated wall is not required at wall that facing the alley. Coordinate and revise plans as necessary. Sheet 3 & 4: Cool roof is required. In addition to the ESR#, a CRRC (Cool Roof Rating Council) number is required to be specified on the plan. Sheet 6: On the plan, please show/provide whole-house vent. Sheet 7 & 8: Please omit sheet 7 & 8 since structural information are provided on the structural sheets.
