If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet IT-001: Square Footage: Please clarity the “U.S.F” abbreviation. On the plan, please separately list/specify square footage of the Suite 205 and 295. Construction Type: Permit record showed building construction as type V-B. Please verify Type of Construction and revise plan accordingly. Project Description: Please clarify job description and specify creating new suite #295 of 1,047 sq.ft. out of existing suite #205 by building a demising wall. Suite 205 will be reduced from _____ sq.ft. to _____ sq.ft. Sheet IT-003: Accessible restroom details: Please revise details to show accessible toilet located at a distance of 17”-18”, measured from the center line of water closet to the adjacent side wall/partition. Accessible route: Please specify on plan, accessible route shall be 5% sloped maximum, measured in the direction of travel, and 2% maximum cross-slope. The accessible route showed on plan from the Carnegie Ave. to the building entrance appeared inaccurate. One, there was not public access (sidewalk) on the Carnegie Ave. Secondly, there was no pedestrian walkway connecting the public sidewalk and building entrance. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. Please provide an accessible route from the public sidewalk (on the Redhill Ave) to the building primary accessible entry. Sheet IT-101.2: Wall details: Referenced details 1 and 2/IT501: For future arrangement of headed millwork/furniture and less confusion and coordination for the construction contractor – please revise details to use 18 gauge metal studs throughout. Construction Legend: Please reference to sheet IT-002 for door schedule. Infill wall at fire-rated corridor: Please revise/provide detail to show fire-rated wall assembly. Door B: Please specify minimum openable door width. Door A and B: Please specify door height, including the sidelight windows. Door note 1: Please revise note to reference to the CBC (not UBC).
