The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700).
-Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
- School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by
the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work.
Sheet A1:
Please note on plan: All concealed work installed without permits must be exposed for inspection to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector. This includes methods of attachment and all footings, structural members, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and insulation.
On the plan, please show location of existing garage. If existing garage was converted into a living space, please clearly depict information on the plan.
Sheet A2:
Master bedroom appeared to be new – please coordinate and revise floor plan accordingly.
Existing bathroom in the master bedroom and closet appear to be built without permit – Please provide clarify and provide permit record as necessary.
2468 window at master bathroom: It’s appear to be a mislabel – please verify window size. Provide tempered glass.
Existing bathrooms: Please show bathroom layout, including all plumbing fixtures.
Existing Kitchen: Please show exiting kitchen layout.
Please show/provide smoke and carbon monoxide alarm outside of each sleeping room, located close to the bedroom door.
Door to master bedroom and bathroom: Please specify door sizes.
Windows: For clarity, please clarify what is “SW” window? Window in master bedroom shall meet emergency escape openings requirement.
Please provide roof plan and specify roof pitch (slope).
Please provide building elevations.
Sheet S1:
On the plan, please identify location of interior bearing wall.
Provide header/beam to replace bearing wall to remove. Provide details.
Show/provide header at interior bearing wall.
Please provide buildings sections to show how the existing roof was supported.
Engineering may be required.
