If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by the Public Works Agency (647-5039) - County of Orange Health Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings ((714)433-6000) - School District Compliance Certificate; a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of work. Refer to the attached handout.Sheet A0.1: Scope of work: Please include the multi-tenant retain space building (301 N. Tustin) in the scope of work. 2nd Review Comment: Scope of work, 301 N. Tustin – Please specify “BUILDING SHELL ONLY – NOT FOR OCCUPANCY”. Sheet A1.1: 325 N. Tustin property: Provide/show bicycle parking facility (short-term and long-term facilities). 2nd Review Comment: Response was incomplete. Long-term bicycle parking facilities shall be in accordance with Section 5.106.4.1.5 Calgreen Code. Apply for both buildings (301 & 325)Sheet A2.1A: 325 N. Double walls at gridline D&E - Details provided were not clearly. Please provide details to clearly show one-hour fire-rated wall assembly at the double-wall, and parapet. Please coordinate and revise detail 06/A3.5A; 08/A3.5A; 14/A3.5A; 16/A3.5A, etc. Please show how the one-hour wall is maintain from slab to the parapet. Provide detail for the one-hour parapet; roof shingle apply to the parapet may be insufficient. Sheet A2.2B: 301 N. Tustin 2nd Review Comment: Please note on the floor plan “FOR BUILDING SHELL ONLY – NOT FOR OCCUPANCY”. Please provide restroom(s) for the proposed multi-tenant retail building. Provide plumbing fixture calculation. Restrooms shall comply with Chapter 11B, Division 6. Structural Review Comments: Sheet S2.1: Along gridline I – Please provide detail to show roof framing, high beam, low beam, etc. in relative with each other. 2nd Review Comment: Please comply. Please provide structural calculation and detail for the miscellaneous structures: Roof top equipment Trash enclosure 2nd Review Comment: Please provide structural details for the trash enclosure and cover roof. Light standards 2nd Review Comment: Please show location of light poles and provide footing details. 2nd Review Comment: Foundation plans – please submit foundation plans to the geotechnical engineer of record for review and approval. The geotechnical engineer should “Review” stamp the plans for general conformance with the soil report recommendation.
