All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.Include address and telephone number of the responsible designer, and date of signing of drawings.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Additional Building permitand plan review is required. This building permit cannot be issued unless the following permit are obtained:Sheet A-401. The alteration of the door #2 shall be added to this permit and listed in the scope of work on the cover sheet.New large building openings.Sheet A-001. Clarify occupancy group on the cover sheet in accordance with 2019 CBC chapter 3. The S occupancy shall be further classified either S1 or S2 per storage material.Sheet A-001. Revise square footage of the tenant improvement area to match the building dimensions: from 2477 sf. to 2447 sf. (39’11”x61’) to match site plan dimensions.Sheet A-001. Identify all features with details that will be altered to bring into current compliance with (CBC 11B-202.4)Entrances, exits and paths of travel – entrances, limit threshold = ½” max.; level area 60” in direction of door swing, 48” opposite door swing, 24”(exterior)/18”(interior) jamb clearance; bottom 10” of door to be smooth, uninterrupted surface, etc. (CBC 11B-404.2.5, 11B-404.2.4, Table 11B-404.2.4.1, 11B-404.2.10)Fill out the disabled access compliance documentation form. Clarify in the form and on plan if the existing accessible path of travel fully or partially complies with 2019 CBC and show if any proposed design, detail and location of improvement in compliance with accessibility requirements along the accessible path of travel in accordance with CBC Section 11B-202. Note: Return the filled form at the next plan check submittal.Sheet A-401. Clarify if there is any accessible restroom located within the building. Design and specify the CFS studs on plan for both parapet wall and furred walls. Call out specification, spacing and attachment on plan.Specify L-Plate.Clarify air gap between CFS studs and CFS stud to A-frame on detail 1/SD1.0 and 2/SD1.0 to be consistent. Show dimensions of the air gap on plan.
