All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Orange County Fire Authority (714) 573-6100Sheet I0.5: Exiting from the office area should not exit through the storage/shipping area. Please provide door between the shipping area and exit corridor. 2nd Review Comment: New double doors provided between the shipping area and corridor – Please revise plan to show/provide minimum 48” clear between doors in series. Material Stock room: Please show second exit (egress path) for the material stock room. 2nd Review Comment: Material stockroom – Please provide one exit open directly to the existing corridor. Sheet I2.1: 2nd Review Comment: Response was insufficient – the comment below remain applicable. Please coordinate with comment above to provide door between existing shipping room and exit corridor. Please provide/show door from the material stock room to the existing corridor. On the plan, please provide door schedule (door dimensions). Double-leaf doors – at least one of the active leaves of doorways shall provide a clear width of 32 inches minimum.
