All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5830 for an appointment.Provide soils report for review.Title Sheet
Provide the following Contractor Note: “The contractor accepts liability for any damage done to the existing building as a result of this excavation work.”
Provide the following Geotechnical Engineer Notes:
The project geotechnical consultant shall observe all temporary cuts to confirm anticipated conditions and to provide alternate recommendations if conditions dictate.
All excavations shall conform to the requirements of CAL/OSHA.
The Geotechnical consultant shall provide a Close-out letter for the temporary slot cuts as shown on sheet #2 after completion of this work.Remove the following note on the title block: “Extent of Excavation at 2 Feet”.Sheet 2 - ABC Slot-cut details:
Provide an ABC slot-cut details on the plan view, front profile, and side profile.
On the plan view, identify A-slot, B-slot, and C-slot, initial temporary cut, slot back-cut, slot side-cut, and slot width.
On the front profile, identify slot height and slot side-cut.
On the side profile, identify slot back-cut and initial temporary cut.
Provide slot-cutting procedure. For example, A-slots to be removed and refilled back to initial temporary cut before proceeding to B-slots. Repeat for B-slots before proceeding to C-slots.
Specify gradient of slot back-cut and slot side-cuts.
Specify maximum slot width and height.Sheet 3Sheet 3 – Specify slab thickness and reinforcement.
