The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
-Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
Sheet A1:
Plan shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record. Apply to all sheets.
Site plan: For clarity, please note (specify) plan check number for each unit.
Site plan: Unit #2, 1019 N. Euclid Street – Please remove the ½ address.
Site plan: Please specify 1019, Unit #3 for the proposed ADU.
Site plan: 1021 N Euclid Street – Please remove/omit note indicated “Unit #3).
Proposed Information: Flood Zone – Please revise plan to specify Flood Zone ‘A’.
Sheet A2.2:
Proposed Flood Plan: For clarity, please show unit #2 and Unit #3 (ADU).
Wall separating two sleeping unit shall be constructed with a one-hour fire-rated wall. Please show on plan and provide construction detail. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan.
The fire-rated wall shall be extended from floor/slab to the underside of the roof sheathing.
New window A at living room (for both units): Please provide tempered glass.
Please provide exhaust / hood in the kitchen area.
Please show/provide smoke alarm inside of each sleeping room, and outside at the area giving access of sleeping room.
Provide carbon monoxide alarm outside of each sleeping room.
Please provide/show attic access for both units.
Sheet A2.3:
Provide/show smoke and carbon monoxide alarm in accordance with Section R314 and R315.
Sheet A5:
Detail 1 and 2 on sheet A5: Roof insulation is not required in garage. Please revise details to omit the roof insulation.
Simpson Strong wall is provided – On the plan, please provide Strong Wall Standard detail sheets.
Framing plan: Please show 4x12 header continue over the Simpson Strong Wall.
