Structural calculation: Please revise calculation for guardrails to resist a linear load of 50 pounds per linear foot (plf) in accordance with Section 4.5.1.1 of ASCE 7. Revise structural details as necessary. 2nd Review Comment: Structural calculation, page 2, Tension force on anchors – The space between the two rows of anchors is 4” apart; therefore, the tension force should equal to 300 x 42 / 4 = 3150-lb. Please provide larger plate and provide adequate edge distance. Revise calculation and details. (End of comment)
