Indicate story height and roof height in the building sections. The information is required to review structural design.All sheets. Please revise drawing title block to show correct address: 3441 W MacArthur Blvd.Sheet A0.00. Please revise scope of work description of the seismic retrofit portion. Revise “new seismic upgrade to roof structure” to “retrofit roof diaphragm and anchorage on the north-south direction only.” Sheet A0.00. The egress analysis shows 16,049 sf. office. Please show occupancy group: B, S1.Sheet A3.10. A number of information and notes are not within the scope of this permit. Please remove them. Delete alldetails, legend and notes which do not apply to this permit application from the drawing.Sheet A3.10. Please show following information on the roof plan:Show square footage, roof slope, drainage and location of the new roofing area.Show existing skylights. For new plan check response, please do not staple them with structural calculation.Please provide calculation of seismic response coefficient, Cs per ASCE 7-16 12.8.1.On north-south direction, please provide wind load calculation to verify that seismic force governs the design. Otherwise, design for most critical load combination with wind load.Please provide lateral analysis on the east-west direction. Provide retrofit details on plan.This building has 8237 sf mezzanine floor. However, the mezzanine load to transfer to diaphragm is not included in the calculation (refer to sheet LR-2). Please clarify and revise.Please provide vertical distribution of seismic forces to calculate demand roof level and mezzanine level force. ASCE 7-16 12.8.3.Please justify the Fpx =0.262 W as shown on page LR-2. Provide diaphragm calculations per ASCE 7-16 12.10.1.1 and equation (12.10-1, 12.10-2 and 12.10-3). The diaphragm force shall include the additional force transferred from mezzanine level to be supported by roof diaphragm and prove that seismic force governs the design.Please clarify and design diaphragm to exterior concrete wall anchorage per ASCE 7-16 12.11END OF COMMENTS
