All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A-1.0: On the plan, please provide Wall Legend for all wall type to identify existing walls vs. new walls. 2nd Review Comment: Please revise plan to provide additional cooler wall adjacent to the existing walk-in cooler unit. And, relocate existing cooler door to give direct access to the general delivery/processing area. On the plan, please specify the floor area of the new cooler. One-hour construction assembly is required for the cooler, if the building is not equipped with Automatic Fire Sprinkler. (Table 509) 2nd Review Comment:Upon reviewing the revised plans and LARR report, the one-hour fire rated wall and ceiling assemblies are not required. Please revise keynote #11 because the wall panels are not fire-rated. Please provide construction details for the new cooler, including wall and ceiling. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Provide structural calculation as necessary. 2nd Review Comment:On the plan, please specify thickness of cooler wall panel and ceiling. Provide wall height and ceiling panel span Tables on the plan. Provide calculation and support details for panel exceeding the allowable span. Sheet A-8.0: Enlarged Ramp: Please show dimensions for the ramp. A 5-ft clear maneuver space is required for the door on the pull side of door; and 6-ft landing is required at the bottom of the ramp. Please provide/show handrails on both sides of ramp. 2nd Review Comment: Please clearly cross-reference enlarged ramp detail to the floor plan so that it can be easily located. (End of Comment)
