If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet I0.1: Please note on plan: Every Cannabis Business shall implement adequate ventilation system and odor control filtration measures to prevent odors from inside the cannabis facility from being detected outside the cannabis facility, to include building and the unit. A licensed Mechanical engineer shall design the system that is capable of preventing odors from inside the cannabis facility from being detected outside the cannabis facility. The design of the ventilation and filtration system shall be based on industry-specific best control technologies and best management practices to effectively mitigate cannabis odors.Project Description: Please clearly provide information for cannabis business operation, including growing, storage, distribution, etc. Occupancy classification: Please classify occupancy group ‘F-1’ for growing areas. Revise occupancy groups and scope areas. Change of use: Please specify “YES”. Occupancy class: Please include F-1 for cannabis growing. Type of construction: Please revise type of construction to type III-B to be consistence with permit record. Sheet Index: Please note “Separate Review” for Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing plans. Sheet Idex: Civil drawing – Please note “For Reference Only”Address: Please include Suite B for the proposed T.I area. Apply to all sheets. Reminder: OCFA review and approval are required. Submit architectural plans to OCFA for review and approval. Sheet I0.4: Accessible route: The truncated dome provided at the parking access aisle was not allow. Please relocate the truncate dome to the new walkway. Please coordinate and revise Civil drawing sheet C3.0 as well. Referenced accessible parking on sheet C3.0: Please revise plan to provide 12-ft wide accessible parking stall with 5-ft access aisle. Sheet I0.5: Please specify the common path of travel distance for the Dry/Trim room. Tactile sign at front door (located at the reception lobby) – Revise plan to provide tactile sign located on the left side of the door latch. Sheet I2.1: Door schedule: Please reference to sheet I7.1 for door schedule. On the plan, please specify door schedule for existing exit doors (exterior doors) and door hardware. Infilled wall (note 201): Please provide structural details for the block infill wall. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. On the plan, please clarify whether the demising wall between suite A and B is new or existing. If new, provide construction details and include in the scope of work; and, egress plan for the adjacent suite will be required. Full height wall (referenced detail F/I8.1): Please clearly specify wall thickness on the floor plan. Please show complete dimensions for nursery rooms and hallway. Referenced detail IMP and Ui on sheet I8.1: On the plan, please provide ICC / UL listing for the insulated wall panels and ceiling panel. Show/provide spanning Table. Roof plan: Provide roof plan showing all roof top equipment (existing and new). Provide structural framing plan and details for mechanical roof top units. Reminder: Mechanical plans are under a separate review; therefore, roof plan and structural plans and details should be part of the building set. Provide structural details and calculation for the new equipment. Title 24 Energy conservation: Please provide Title 24 Energy calculation and Compliance forms to demonstrate the building envelope is in compliance with the Energy Code. Provide building sections to show wall and roof insulation for conditioned spaces. (End of comment)
