All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet S201: Keynote #11, 12, 13 – building permit is required for the new roof top units. Please coordinate and revise scope of work and permit application. Otherwise, remove from plan. 2nd Review Comment: Please coordinate with architect to revise permit application and scope of work to include new roof units as specified on the structural roof framing plans. Building permit is required for the new roof top units and should be part of the scope of work. Sheet S201: Keynote #14, 15, 16 – Please revise permit application and job description to include the proposed (new) roof top units. 2nd Review Comment: Please coordinate with architect to provide architectural plans with new roof top units as indicated on the structural plan. Building permit is required for the new roof top units and should be part of the scope of work. Additional plan check fee may be required. 2nd Review Comment: Pending on the revised scope of work and permit application. Structural Calculation: Please check L4x4x1/4 for compression forces. 2nd Review Comment: Please incorporate the response into the structural calculation package. Please provide calculation for existing slab supporting new equipment weight. New mechanical concrete pad may be required. 2nd Review Comment: Please incorporate the response into the structural calculation package. Reminder – two (2) sets of final calculation package are required for final review and approval. Reminder: Mechanical and Electrical are under separate review and approval.
