All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.Include address and telephone number of the responsible designer, and date of signing of drawings.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)A new 4’x7’ exterior door is shown within the scope of work area (Refer to floor plan on sheet A2.1). However, it is not part the scope of work description on the cover sheet. Building permit is required for adding that new door. If the door is not part of this scope, remove it from the drawings. If it is part of the scope, provide following for further review and Planning Division approval is required prior to next Building plan check:On sheet T-0, revise scope of work to include this door.Provide exterior elevation to show this door is added, show type, color, material, dimensions..Provide dimensions on floor plan to locate this door.Provide specification of this door in the door schedule.This door is to be accessible complying with 11B-404.2Provide structural calculation, plans and details by a licensed civil or structural engineer for the new door opening.Provide existing floor plan (to scale) at the tenant improvement area.Sheet T-0. Update type of construction to type IIIB per City’s record.Sheet A-1. Show on the site plan accessible routes that comply with the following: At least one accessible route shall be provided within the site from accessible parking spaces and accessible passenger loading zones; public streets and sidewalks; and public transportation stops to the accessible building or facility entrance they serve. Revise hall way width from 3’-5” to 44” minimum within the saferoom.Sheet A-3. Show finished ceiling height on the reflected ceiling plan.Sheet A-6. Provide a 30”x48” clear floor space adjacent to all accessible counters. Accessible counters shall provide parallel or forward approach to comply with Section CBC 11B-904.4.
